Ejector Pins

DIN ISO 6751

Black oxidized plasma nitrided Ejector Pin with cylindrical head.

Range of application:

Die casting and injection molding.

Advantages:

• Protection of the tool by means of the oxidized layer

• Increased service life of the mold when using ordinary pins

• Excellent feature of dry running, thanks to an oxidized layer

• Greater resistance to corrosion (due to oxidized layer)

• Using AWF 1400, the life of the tool is increased

Injection molding:

• Best replacement for the bright nitrided (A004) and hardened

ejector pin (A001).

• Oxidizied layer does not peel off during the operation

• Greater life span than light, nitrided (A004) and hardened

(A001) ejector pin.

Die-casting:

• Best replacement for nitrided, MoS2 surface ejector pin

(A003);

• melt does not stick to the oxidized coating;

• MoS2 layer.

The dimensions are shown in the table.

Material:

WAS (hot-work tool steel) suitable for nitriding.

Material properties:

• Stability.: approx 600 ° C / 1112 ° F

• Oxidized protective coating can withstand temperatures to: 500 ° C / 932 ° F

Finish:

Ground shank, hot forged cylindrical head, plasma nitrided

and black oxidized.

Note: Ejector pins are simply reduced to any desired length,

without peeled off nitrided surface and oxidation layer.
